INTERNATIONAL PETROLEUM REPRESENTATION

Align the commercial and physical plan

A cargo needs more than a destination.

KazExpo’s logistics role is commercial coordination. Terminal operators, carriers and inspectors remain responsible for their own operational services and technical approvals.

Terminal and storage coordination

Confirm the actual facility, operator, account holder, product compatibility and release authority. Verify terminal documents with the operator independently. A tank identifier or storage receipt is not, by itself, evidence of unrestricted product ownership.

Vessel nomination and acceptance

Identify the nomination party, vessel particulars, acceptance criteria and loading window. Operational teams should resolve berth limits, transfer rates, notices and safety requirements. Commercial intermediaries should not promise acceptance on behalf of a terminal.

Inspection and custody transfer

Agree who appoints the inspector, the scope, sampling point, methods and document recipients. Set the measurement basis and discrepancy process before movement. Inspection describes defined observations; it does not replace title or authorization checks.

Operating checklist

Connect the loading-side arrangements or destination arrangements to the contract. Assign an owner for nomination, terminal access, inspection, customs documents, release, insurance and claims.
